A villa reduced to a few large rooms and a strong roof. The study is concerned with shade, horizon and a small number of carefully placed openings.

Architectural concept
One long living volume faces the garden. Sleeping rooms are a quieter wing. A thin pool holds the edge between house and land.
Design approach
White planes, deep overhangs and a dark floor keep the interior cool to the eye. Furniture is kept low so the view remains the primary object. Demonstration photography only.
